Emirates Resumes Flights to Cambodia: 96% of Network Restored

Emirates announced the resumption of flights to Cambodia, bringing its global network to 96% of pre-disruption levels. Since May 1, 2026, the airline operates a daily flight between Phnom Penh (Techo International Airport) and Dubai, with a stopover in Singapore. Additionally, three weekly flights connect Siem Reap (Angkor International Airport) to Dubai via Bangkok. In total, Emirates serves 137 destinations in 72 countries, with over 1,300 weekly frequencies, representing 75% of its previous capacity.

If you live in Siem Reap, you now have three direct flights per week to Dubai via Bangkok, making connections to Europe, Africa, and the Americas easier. For expats based in Phnom Penh, the daily flight offers greater flexibility. Emirates also offers benefits like flexible booking (one free date change) and the Dubai Connect program for layovers of 6 to 26 hours, including accommodation and meals. Be aware of Dubai Connect conditions: it is reserved for passengers with a layover of 6 to 26 hours and must be booked at least 12 hours in advance via reservation management. Flights via Bangkok or Singapore involve a stopover, so allow sufficient connection time. Also check visa requirements for Cambodia and transit countries.
